OK, conspiracy theorists, you're reading too much into my words, or just taking the opportunity (however tongue-in-cheek you intend) to bash CW further -- when they did the right thing after being notified.
There was no non-disclosure agreement or even any form of a contract involved. I did receive a refund, considered as Goodwill, and they did change their pricing.
I am just naturally reluctant to discuss my finances on the board.
The only reason I ever quoted a dollar amount in my OP was to indicate the sizeable amount of the mispricing. If it had only been a matter of a few bucks, I would never have posted it in the first place, and been satisfied merely with my initial e-mail to CW.
However, when the "semi-automatic" response that I quoted came back -- and when I never heard from Marcus's personal e-mail, I felt it appropriate to escalate to a "Dear Marcus" forum (thus proving "10 months vs. 12 minutes" correct again).
Please, can we consider this matter closed? "Can we all just get along?"

So HOW was the issue settled??
You state they acknowledged that they do have unusual pricing....was that what you needed. An acknowledgement?
If you check CW's site today, the price on the combination cordset & inlet has been repriced to be lower than the two parts individually. You can draw whatever inference you like from that fact.
Again, all I'll say is that I'm satisfied with their settlement; I consider anything else to be between CW & me as a personal matter. In my original post, I merely stated a figure because I was quoting my original communication with them verbatim.
No disrespect meant at all, and I am glad that CW came through for you.
But you posted on a public forum, and now the settlement terms are private? :h
Is non disclosure part of the settlement? If so, you can say so, nothing wrong with that.
Yep, you hit the nail on the head. In any settlement, Camping World requires a non-disclosure document signed. That in of itself shows that Camping World does not have the customers best interest at heart. They are worried that others, knowing the terms of a settlement, will want the same thing. This shows their true colors!

To those who have said (paraphrasing), "Too bad. You should have read closer", you're missing my point.
Most people who are changing from the standard Marinco "Park Power" fixtures to SmartPlug will require both the Cord set and Power Inlet, so they are more likely to buy the combined set item.
Therefore, to price that item significantly higher (~20%) than the individual items is either a significant error or is predatory pricing to take advantage of human nature.
If it's their error, then I'm giving them a chance to correct it and make it right.
If it's intentional pricing, however, then I'll shame them for their predation.
Elizabeth, you're getting the benefit of the doubt. I'll wait for your response before posting further.
