I currently have 205/75r14 and it looks like I could go up to 215/75r14 on the same rim. I would gain 200 pounds in capacity. I am not maxed out but it would give me more room. What do you think?

Thanks

+1 on this, Kumho makes this tire. Check Tire Rack for specs.
The Kumho 857 is a D rated tire at 65 psi and a very good upgrade for tires on a trailer.

Just make sure your present 14" wheel can handle the higher pressures if you decide to go with them.

If the OP's wheels are 14" x 6" I suggest replacing them with 15" x 7" wheels - just for the better selection of available tire brands and sizes.

Well, you will gain TIRE capacity, reduce the odds of a blow out and increase tire life as well as bearing life (Cooler not turning as fast).

What you will NOT do is increase the RV's cargo carrying capacity. That is a function of the axle and springs.

And, most important, most trucks look better with larger tires....

You might have a slight change in your speedometer reading? But I don't think it would be enough to worry about.

As long as you room for bigger tires in terms of top/side clearance, I would do it.
