Anyone canceling trips due to Corona virus?

I've got several trips planned, and some are at music festivals, so I'm trying to decide what to do. I see SBySW has cancelled, and afraid there will be more to do the same.
We just got our first case in Memphis today.

Terry, your math doesn't add up. Evidence has shown that every infected person infects two others. No one has any immunity to this virus. Evidence has shown that the number of cases doubles about every two weeks.

The spokesperson from the CDC said that it's just a matter of time that everyone will be exposed to this virus within the next year or two.

That doesn't mean every person will get sick. But your numbers are way off.

BTW, just today 4 or 5 representatives and 1 senator are in quarantine due to exposure to someone who tested postive and has disease.

Why do you think you are going to get it? there are over 334 million people in the US. What makes you so sure that you will be part of the .0001 percent that will get it????

And over 80% of the ones that do get it recover with out any medical treatment. Man don't panic. Stop watching CNN. live your life. You are in no more danger than you were in December
There are already more than .0001 percent that have it (do the math). What's reported in the US is way UNDER-reported. This thing has been in the wild for weeks while the ostriches still had their heads stuck in the sand. When exposure goes to 50% and 3.4% of those will die, will that get your attention?

Having said that, I'm living my life (but I'm staying away from large crowds and washing my hands a lot more).

I did do the math. I'm spot on. As for the people dying. In fact those were already sick. With things like COPD. And other respiratory illness.

Well we were not doing much different until we found out that the State of Georgia was setting up Hard Labor Creek State Park as a location for the isolation and monitoring of patients who may have been exposed to COVID-19. That just didn't sound like where we wanted to camp, so we changed our reservations to a different park.

Itโ€™s good to see for the most part , most on this thread are not in the panic mode , unfortunately from the looks of things a lot of people are . We are spending a couple weeks in Willow Beach, Az. , and itโ€™s off the beaten path . Went into Henderson , Nv for groceries , wanted to buy โ€œONE โ€œ case of bottled water at Costco , well that didnโ€™t happen. Did get one at Walmart.

No change in our travel plans , three plus month Alaska trip still a go .Besides fuel prices will be low :B

Been feverishly, (pardon the pun) waiting for the cancellations to begin. Been watching Bahia Honda State Park for a cancellation for a while now and haven't seen any. Haven't these people heard? GO HOME!
Guess I'll have to keep trying.
Our 2351D Phoenix Cruiser, Jack, has turned us from campers into RVers and loving it!

We like Me TV. They play the old classics and it's available in nearly every location where we camp. Even if the crank-up antenna only gets two or three channels, the odds are good that one of them will be Me TV.

CNN is one of the news channels we watch but I'm a bit peeved at them for starting to call this a 'pandemic'. It just isn't, yet.

No RV trips are gonna get canceled yet. We don't cruise, so that's not an issue. We don't fly, so that's not an issue. We don't grocery shop in the big city, so that's not an issue.

We'll just go along normally, reminding ourselves to wash our hands and keep them away from our faces.

Seems like a lot of people WANT this to be more than it is and feast on the media blowing it out of proportion.

My personal feelings are that this whole virus thing is overblown. We had planned and went to the Plant City Strawberry Festival last weekend for the Reba concert. I guess we have another week to find out if we have been contaminated but then, was it the concert or stopping at Buckee's for fuel and relief both coming and going.
Unless our recent rubbing shoulders with the masses result in our demise we will be heading to Idaho via Chicago area from NOLA. If you fear the bug we may be carrying avoid all USACE parks along I55 north and I80 westbound.
