Electric trailer tongue jack?

First post in this area. Have Outback trailer shown in signature. Tongue weight of about 450# if I remember right. Would like to replace crank jack with electric model. Darn the prices are expensive for those 2500# jobs. Suggestions anyone?

They all come with a manual crank and are actually easier to crank then the non electric jack.

Well! In that case I might have to take another look!

Do your homework before purchasing one. On some brands, there is a cover of sorts to take off before you can use the crank. On others, like the Atwoods that I have, the handle just inserts into the head with no dis-assembly needed.

I picked up one at Camping World on sale for $150 or so. Like the others said, it's the best money you'll ever spend. As for weight I think pretty much any of them will do. I don't think I've ever seen one under 2000#

Another vote for Mantelli. Picked up a Bulldog (Fulton) from them at a great price. Only one out there with a 5 year warranty, although I've heard nothing but good about Barker and Ultra Fabs customer service.

2 years with UltraFab 3502 refurbished for under $100 shipped. 3500 pound rating, to raise the trailer tongue and rear of tow vehicle for WD bar attachment.

And if "It can take a fair amount of power to break the hitch loose form the TV", you are doing something wrong.

I picked up a new Barker off of eBay for cheaper than I could find it anywhere else. Mantelli Trailer Sales (listed as mtsrv) has been on eBay since 2006 with 100% feedback...great seller and a great price.

Thanks for the information. Had forgotten about lifting trailer and truck to set the WD bars. Would need some additional capacity to do that with everything loaded. Will check the links and brands suggested.

I've got a #650 TW trailer and have a #3000 electric jack (Ultra Fab).

You want the additional capacity when you lift the tongue and the TRUCK when you set your WD bars.. ๐Ÿ˜‰

All I can say is my jack works great for the last 8+ years and expect it to go forever.. ๐Ÿ™‚

I don't even remember what I paid for it, but I think I paid around $175 for it?? Well worth it for me! Don't regret the purchase one single bit..
