The OP clearly bought from a local dealer.

I thought I would share my experiences from today. We purchased a new TT and took ownership on 5/20/13. Upon arriving home ( 160 mile one way trip) the galley mini blind had fallen down.
(snip)
I could have purchased a lessor unit 30 miles away. There is a lot to be said about a dealer's reputation.
Just sharing.

MY zest to be argumentative??? :B
That's a hoot, Mr. Hold-their-feet-to-the-fire-no-matter-how- inconvenient...
Since I asked the question, I guess I'd have to say that it's you that missed the point of it, Paul. I'd buy according to best deal, and get warranty service where most convenient, that's all. It may well be that the O.P. doesn't even know that's an option. I didn't!

Sure it can, but why should a customer have to resort to that? When I buy a car, I fully expect any warranty work will be handled by the dealer I bought it from. Why should I expect differently with my RV dealer?
Well, it wouldn't be worthwhile to ME to drive two hundred and fifty miles round trip (twice: drop off/pickup) just to deal with the original seller...but whatever floats yer boat!

O.K., I've never owned a new RV so know little about RV warranties- but can't warranty work be done by ANY dealer/RV place that the rigmaker approves of???

Posting: "the sky was blue today".
Responses: "how do you know it was blue? We weren't there, so we don't know if it was blue or not. It could of been gray. Maybe you didn't look at it with both eyes open. Perhaps you misinterpreted the color. It couldn't of been blue, I just looked online and it said it was cloudy at your location.
