Being raised in Va. and watching I-95 being built,
I remember the Happy Day the toll were taken OFF.

The last time I was on any part of I-95, we left Va. 20+
years ago, I was really amazed at how awful it was.

I am glad I hardly ever use it any more.
The infrastructure of the nation is failing
and few in "authority" have a clue.

By law evidently doesn't mean doodey any more. More than interstates are involved.

By law no new tolls unless it is a new road or a new lane or service has been added to an existing interstate , sez NPR

accsys: I know many of the states are considering tolls on I-95.

That would make two reasons to stay off of 95.

I don't know where I would find a toll road in NC

The Triangle Expressway near Raleigh is one toll road. I don't know if there are others yet. I know many of the states are considering tolls on I-95.
