We have some friends we camp with about 4 times a year and exchange gifts. We only see these friends camping so light to buy camping related gifts. Looking for some ideas from some of you vintage campers. They have a hybrid camper. Any ideas, please? Thank you

Lanterns are always nice. LED's are the way to go as the batteries last 5-10 times as long in those. Variety of sizes and price ranges.

Fireplace tools like a log grabber to manipulate the firewood in the campfire are nice and something most of us do with a strong limb or "stirring stick" we find laying around. Friend of mine left his with me when he came camping one time and I have not remembered to take it back to him yet. Maybe in the fall when he needs it for his fireplace.

We like anything that has a camping theme to it. Wife found some salt and pepper shakers that were shaped and painted like little travel trailers so now those are what we bring out to the picnic table for meals.

Visit a RV dealer and go in and check out their parts department. usually have plenty of useful stuff to give you some ideas.

Good Luck deciding!

Tall order. How about supper for the first night just like you would fix the kids or welcoming anyone.
Trinkets etc. There are so many. Whatever they always wanted but didn't find or didn't get for some reason.

These are my all-time favorite marshmallow sticks. They telescope and the shaft / fork part rotates.

Rolla Roaster

I think I got mine from LL Bean, but Amazon and lots of other places have them, too.

I bought each of my 7 seasonal camping neighbors wrist keyfob key holders from Etsy. Each has a different colored pattern of vintage campers. We all carry keys around when out for a walk, shopping or down at the beach, and this makes them hard to lose.

How 'bout a pie iron? A pie iron is a cast iron clamshell device with long handles that you can hold over a campfire to grill burgers, hot dogs, grilled cheese sandwiches, pot pies, hot pockets, etc. You can usually find them at the big ABCD sporting good stores (y'know, Academy, Bass Pro, Cabela's, Dick's, etc.)

Now that gift I would appreciate. Most gifts I receive are not something I want and end up cluttering up the place until they end up in a yard sale.

Successful gift giving needs to be something useful and wanted by the recipient. Unfortunately most gift giving is done through a feeling of obligation and are a waste of money.

1. A handful of quick connects for the fresh water hose.

2. I don't know what they're called, but a fabric bag that saves plastic bags that matches the interior of their camper. I found mine of Etsy and just love it. Here you go...this is the lady that made mine. Clicky

3. A shower bag or beach bag that won't get all moldy and gross from www.saltwatercanvas.com I have the large shower bag in black and purple, and the whale bag in orange, blue, and yellow multi.
