How to wash RV-TT in a storage lot

For the next year or so our TT is in an RV storage lot...yes we still camp with it, its new, just can't have it at home for a period of time...

Anyway, I have some ideas on how to keep it clean and wanted to see what others do. Ours is currently pretty dirty (bird droppings, streaks, etc ). Since there is no running water there, what do you all do?

Just use the brush without the hose!
This is my bug remover, has an extendable handle, that and a 5 gal. Homer bucket. With the bucket full of water and Turtle was/Wax, about 30 minutes to was the whole rig.

I use the rain. Either show up right as the rain is stopping, first thing in morning after rainy night etc. Or if it has dried and the rain has done most of the work, I spray on Quick Detailer and wipe it off.

This is more useful if it hasn't become very dirty. If it has with lot of abrasive dirt I have to use the hose or a bucket.

Might do a search for "waterless car washes". A bucket of water and sponge is all that's needed.

I have no issue washing my rig once at the campground. I will always wash bugs off the front cap on arrival at a park.
I am looking at the using of on board water to wash when returning during wet / muddy times.
We no longer bring the 5er home to load, cloths always stocked, perishable food tub we fill from home refer and load once to storage yard.

If you take it to campgrounds (not RV parks) you could always "bucket and sponge" clean it there. Easier YET is to find an outdoor car wash and use that to clean it on the WAY to the campground. We often stop at car washes when traveling to clean up the trailer (after beach camping it's a must) and have on more than one occasion pulled in as far as possible (with a spotter) without hitting the AC and washed the front half, then back out, turn around and back the rear end in (again with reliable spotter) to wash the rear end, at a regular indoor car wash. Where there's a will/need, there's a way 🙂

I had the same issue. I decided to wash it at home and then cover the TT to keep it clean. This has worked well for me.

When faced with a similar situation, I have hooked a hose to the outdoor kitchen faucet (or outside shower would work) and used the on board water supply. Not the best pressure in the world, but enougth to get the job done.

Then we keep a cover on it to keep it clean between outings ....

Are you going to bring it home to load it prior to going camping? If so, wash and wax, load, sanitize water tank and go. You should be able to have it at/near your home for a day to get it ready to go.
