I wish my employer would give me more notice of when I can get time off. I got the afternoon off today and probably don't have to work tomorrow. But, since I don't know I have to stay around home, Just In Case.

Yup we got back Sunday from 4 days at Lake McConaughy, Nebraska with friends. Working this week, then leaving Saturday for a week at the Flaming Gorge with family.

It's a little stressful only in that my husband decided it would be a good idea to take the rig in for service THIS week, instead of waiting til after we got back, so I had to clean out the fridge, and can't repack til we get it back, which may not be til tomorrow... ugh.

But once we're there, we'll be grinning too ๐Ÿ™‚

Gotta love it.
We just returned Sunday from a 10 day vacation that included a week at Myrtle Beach. Getting ready to head out again Friday for 4 more days at Beech Fork Lake in WV.

The only things that slow us down is...
$$$
Jobs
kids
RV maintenance
House maintenance
Getting reservations (parks are packed)

Online camping is easy. It's amazing how many places you can get 4GLTE. Tether a phone to a laptop and you're in. Just don't stream video much and you're gold.
See the Technology Corner forum for more ideas.

Been doing it for three years between March and October. Since mid-February I think we've been home a week, and not all at the same time.

Granted, we don't go all that far from home, but when you live where we live there isn't any reason to.

That's awesome! What are do you hail from?

It's great to hear about all the travels our fellow members are taking!

For us these short trips are new. Faster setups and packing are something we're looking forward to, but we enjoy the "big" setups and long trips, too.

Everyone be safe out there and remember to enjoy those around you while you have the opportunity ๐Ÿ™‚

Oh yes, I understand that pain. It's why my sticks 'n' bricks is in 20+ acres of woods surrounded by 1500 acres of land last used by its owners in the 1970s.

And why all those states are colored in.

So you'll just have to suffer those trips, my friend. Poor devil.

Very nice! I hope they never find a "cure" LOL.

"Grinning" is more like it. I'm sure someone with as many states colored in as you have can understand the "pain" I'm in right now. :C

Our new to us TT is supposed to be our ready to go option, more like a rolling apartment we can take camping or traveling.

Our last trip was our first trip with this camper. We'll see how the rapid-fire version goes ๐Ÿ˜‰

If this quick trip goes well, we will green light next month's longer trip with friends for PA to Arkansas, stopping at least in Kentucky at Mammoth Caves/National Park.

We've been building up to this summer for a few years, hoping it all goes well ๐Ÿ™‚

Due to depreciation the above opinions are now worth less than what you paid for them.
