Laundry $$ @ Yellowstone

How much does it cost to wash & dry @ Yellowstone? We'll be at Fishing Bridge.

Also, we'll b at Coulter Bay RV Park the week before. I don't see anything about laundry facilities there. Do they have any or is it easier to go into Jackson?

While determining a price for doing the washing is easy (when the washer shuts off, it is done). But I've always wondered how people determine a price for drying. We've never had our dry loads finish at the same time. Jeans take forever and lots of extra coins. Undies/whites don't take much time and less $.

We did laundry at Grant Village last fall, my recollection was like anything at Yellowstone, it was more expensive than what you pay elsewhere, but it wasn't exorbitant.

Near Colter Bay RV, the laundry beside the store also provided 30 minutes of free Internet, enough to check email messages. Over 30, you paid a fee. (We were there two years ago, may be different now.)

Both at that one and at Fishing Bridge, there were a lot of machines. Both had parking and you need to drive a few minutes to Colter Bay's laundry from the RV park. Fishing Bridge laundry is closer to campsites beside the check-in & shower building.

4 loads per week, wash & dryers. Change of clothes every day for two people, also have towels & bedding. Sometimes entry floor rug. That's a pile of cotton. Maybe if items are not changed daily there would be less, but it is what it is for us.

IME, cg laundry prices vary widely, and it's smart to plan ahead, do laundry at the cheaper ones.

I haven't checked Y'stone area, but I notice many posts at rvparkreviews give laundry prices.

Given all the smart-azz and non-helpful answers you've gotten here, I would get online, hunt up some phone numbers, and call someone at Yellowstone and ASK.

We did laundry in West Yellowstone a few years ago and I don't recall it being exorbitant. You could probably get pretty close by checking prices at your local laundromat and adding about 25%.

We're full time and average $70 - $80 per month for laundry.. Some places are higher than others, but never worry about it.. It is what it is, and for us, much better than having to do many loads per week if we had units on board.
