What have you seen this year for wash and dry pricing?
For those that use the park laundry, was it clean?

Price where we are at now is .25 for 10 min. to dry and takes 3 to 4 quarters. Wash is $1.50 a load. and room and machines clean.

I do laundry 3 times a week with our W/D and 4 people. At $4.00 per load, that's $12.00 per week. So that would make a 100 week payback period assuming it doesn't break in that time. Interesting analysis.

Only had to do laundry in an RV park once on our recent trip. Nice front-load washers and dryers -- no charge at Tom Sawyer's Mississippi River RV Park in West Memphis, Arkansas.

That's the same cost and timing as my apartment laundry room which is not trying to make a profit just provide a convenience. It's .25 for 6 minutes at the public laundromat near the state park we normally go to.
Every laundry room I've been to in the last.....5 years was clean. Doesn't mean all the machines worked though;).

$1.50 to $2.00 to wash, $1 to $1.50 to dry.

Filling 4 commercial machines at once, and having a week's of laundry done in an hour, priceless.
And yes, always clean, never a problem.

Pretty sure that even considering a $1200 price tag your Splendide W/D combo has paid for itself MANY times in the last 15 years of fulltiming! It has been repaired 3 times by me with the excellent telephone tech. support available. The last repair was just last week when one of the power wires burnt at the spade connection. A clean cut on the wire, a new connector and we were back in business in about an hour including removal and replacement.
What I post is my 2 cents and nothing more. Please don't read anything into my post that's not there. If you disagree, that's OK.
Can't we all just get along?

No idea as we have not used one in 12 years. I paid $500 for a new takeout Splendide 2100XC several years ago.
OK in the East it's close to $2X2 and it's not the cost it's the convenience and cleanliness.

Here on the east coast, the rates are $2 to wash & $2 to dry. We are planning to add a WD combo to not only save money, but to make the laundry chore easier. :W

Wow, that is $$$ if you are talking normal sized front loaders. Or does your cg have the huge laundromat ones?
The big laundromat ones.

CG washers are almost always the old-school agitator bar ones which my nice sheets get wrapped around.
