RV water hoses and pocket hoses

For home use we have a couple of those so called "pocket" or "folding hoses" and they are great; light, easy to coil up, to move around, etc. I don't suppose there is any chance any have been developed to be drinking safe so as to use 1 to hook up the RV to water. I would go out and buy one in a heartbeat. I absolutely hate fooling with those damn RV hoses; especially when they are cold and stiff.

I have 3 or so of these, one of which I have to refill my fresh water tank and have had no problems. I like that it takes minimum room. Only one of them has failed in use around the yard having been damaged during the inevitable dragging around.

I had one blow up on me the other day and I've had two strip the threads when trying to attach a nozzle or to the hydrant. Don't waste your money.

No joke, when you were a kid did you not drink from a hose while you were outside playing. Heck even to this day I drink form a hose if I need to.

They are garden hoses......not potable water hoses

I had one of those 'Shrinking' hoses. It lasted a week before the sidewall ruptured & we don't have high water preasure. Total waste of money.

Most of us use a water pressure regulator that screws on to the faucet. That should eliminate any over-pressure problems.
