Dometic used to have an incinerator unit that used the vehicle's exhaust. I'm sure the tech is doable, but all the permits and lawsuit protection measures make it not worth it for most companies to even think about.

Sewage elimination by exhaust heat may be the trick to keeping people from following too close behind you. (I know, the idea stinks)

Also installing a fuel filler neck into the black tank is a good way to get even with anyone that tries to syhphon your fuel.

And when they get clogged and need cleaned to function again they are not fun. Life on the water was better when we could just run the macerator overboard.

The newer Incinolet on boats require electric for about forty five minutes after use . On the boats that I ran they would heat when engine was running only . Did not use many amps

Doesn't use exhaust but Incinolet does the same thing. Popular on commercial fishing boats because they run the diesels 24/7, so they always have electricity.

If you aren't driving and you aren't on shore power...powering them is a big issue. I don't think I'd want to run the diesel for 1/2 an hour after each poo.

Had one, as delivered from factory, in an FMC. Worked well if you drove enough, if you didnโ€™t you dumped.

Let me know which route you are going to take so I won't get that perfume in the coach.
There was a reason S--- Burning detail was given to those that were the worse a--h---s.
It was intended, that sewage treatment plants would burn the sewage after drying, in very high temp incenerators. Would have been no smell when they were done and our rivers and streams would be polluted by various medications, sludge and bacteria and the like.
The Enviros said no because of CO2. Trees burn CO2, you know.

The referenced article is for 2011

Last info is from 2012----inventor looking for investors

Can't find ANY for sale-----unknown IF it ever went into production

Would think a MAJOR RV Mfg would have one as option in their model line :S

Personally I think it was a 'solution' looking for a 'problem'

Exhaust temps need to be ABOVE 550*F
At idle my EGTs are only 300*F
I am NOT going to run my diesel at high Idle to generate high enough EGTs to burn off poop/pee concoction while boondocking
And if I am driving some where I don't need it cause I have either dumped my waste OR will when I get to next place.

Just don't see the benefit for all of the added equipment/sensors/energy/troubles VS just plain old dumping of waste tanks
Is it time for your medication or mine?

Years ago when I was growing up, we lived in Colorado. We had some hippies that lived down the road from us. They had this fancy Catalytic Toilet. They would use said toilet, and once it reached the magic amount (the waste dropped down into a burn can or soemthing), they would lock it down, and fire that puppy up. It would then burn off all the said waste contained there in. They thought it was the greatest invention every made...

We however were upwind of them (as the wind would blow up the canyon toward us), and we could tell almost every single time they fired up the commode. Burning P**p still smells like burning P**p no matter how much you emulsify it. While I cannot say for certain that this New design would stink as you are driving down the road, I'n not sure if I would want to chance it...or follow you while you are operating it. Just my 2 cents...
