Sheets for RV matress

Hey All,

We have a king size sleep number bed in our 2008 Holiday Rambler Navigator. I measured the mattress and it was 72" X 80". Regular king sized sheets are 78" X 80" so they are very large and loose, which I really don't like.

Can anyone share info on where to buy sheets to better fit our mattress?

I did buy one set a few years ago from Camping World but I think they were expensive so I'd like to find other sources.

Thank you all for your suggestions. I think I'll pick up a pair of sheet stays the next time we are at a Walmart.

Be wary of sheets from Camping World. We bought two sets from them last fall. We just opened one of the sets this weekend when we cleaned up the 5er for the coming camping season. Found two holes in the brand new sheet set. It has been maybe 4-5 months since we bought so to late to return. Also can't find the receipt. Love them except for the holes. (Maybe cause they are on my side of the bed!LOL)

We bought ours from AB Lifestyles. Watch sizes! Camping world's are not 72 x 80.

We found the best solution is to put a memory foam mattress topper on top of the mattress. Now regular sheets fit and we sleep much better. It is well worth the money.

I have posted this many times. Buy a pair of men's suspenders at Wal Mart. Lay them out in an X pattern under the mattress. Attach them in 4 places to the side of the sheets, they are adjustable for any size mattress and hold any sheet tight.

We had a firm, home-style mattress custom-made by an Amish craftsman in Ohio's Amish community near Mt. Hope, Ohio. We took the measurements to another Amish lady living just a mile or so from the mattress shop. She made a fitted sheet that works just fine. Always good to support the local business community.

For those wondering how?, both shops had diesel generators to operate the professional machinery in their respective shops. Some Amish sects do permit and encourage such "modern" adaptations for their productive business enterprises, so long as they are "off-grid" from our "English" power supply.

We use sheet stays on all the mattresses.
Hubby hates it when the sheets get loose. So we have them on the house beds and the Rv beds.

Get them at Walmart a pack of 4 for 3 bucks

Easy to put on and we say well worth it too.

Very puzzled by your size bed. Every size chart I have seen shows a standard King, including the Sleep Number mattresses as being 76 x 80. A California King is 72 x 84. Your measured size is neither of these leading me to suspect you are measuring wrong. Sleep number does not seem to have a bed in stock that is your measured size.

I suspect you have poorly sized sheets. We always have purchased our sheets from Lands End ... better quality and better fit.

We use a set of "sheet garters", elastic bands with clips that connect across the corners of standard bottom sheets under the mattress to pull out the slack. Walmart and many other places have them for around $5.
