We just spent a week in Pensacola. We get funny looks when friends ask us how we enjoyed the trip. My Norse/Minnesota heritage makes me pretty heat intolerant, but my SoCal beach bunny wife loves it. So, our response is "dang near killed me" and she "loved it!"

A trip up to Crooked River State Park just over the state line in St Marys, GA would have seen mid-80's daytime and mid-70's at night.
Actually, it was low 90s all last week. We're 20 minutes north of Crooked River SP. This week should be highs in the mid-80s, lows in the low 70s. Humidity is still very high though.

One of these days I will learn my desire to camp and the realities of it just doesn't match. As I age the heat sez no and my mind sez yes. Think we will rethink this next year. Btw..our AC is the best thing since apple pie!
