We are a 2019 F150 ecoboost with towing capacity of 13,000 lbs. We are pulling a 2015 TimberRidge 28' trailer, 6933 lbs. We have a Reese equalizer hitch system (1000 lbs bars).
We are looking to add some sway control but there are many options.
We could add the Reese sway to our existing system; We could add just add a different brand of sway control; or we could get a whole new system (Camco eaz lift and Fastway E2 hitch systems have been recommended by friends) Looking for opinions to guide us. TIA

WDH systems are one of those things most of us have to buy more than once. We save a few bucks and go the cheap route. It "works fine" but not great.
Eventually some of us spend more and find out what we we're missing.

Get a used Hensley Arrow from eBay. Problem solved..
Please give me enough troubles, uncertainty, problems, obstacles and STRESS so that I do not become arrogant, proud, and smug in my own abilities, and enough blessings and good times that I realize that someone else is in charge of my life.

This one will work just fine. No need for anything more.

When we still had a TT, we changed from the Reese bar and chain with friction sway bar to the Equal-i-zer 4 point 14,000 1,400 hitch and had absolutely no regrets. Trailer was 35 feet long. We now have a fifth wheel.

Since you already have a Reese I imagine adding on the dual cam is the most cost effective. If you want to change teh hitch out completely I would go with the 4 point Equal-i-zer hitch. I have one and it works well for me.

X2 - If you already have the Reese system, it's a minor upgrade to add the dual-cam setup, which works very well.

If possible, use the Reese Dual Cam system. Worked better for us than and friction based system.
