Daydreaming a little today. The lottery is up to half a billion now. If you won what would be your dream rig? I would want a class A, not really huge maybe 35 feet or so. Gotta have a tip out or 2. A nice small car to tow, maybe a Copper convertable.

For me I'm happy with what I have. If I won half a billion, I'd have a couple more RVs maintained in a garage. Toss the keys to some old friends when they wanted to go camping.

Class A large enough to tow a trailer with my red Ferrari 458 Spider inside. No one drives but me and the better half. (oh yeah, and hair transplants):C

This will sound weird, but: the first thing I would do is try my best to buy the rights to all pre-3rd Edition Dungeons & Dragons material from Hasbro.

Wouldn't get a new rig...I like my Genesis!

My big purchase would have wings...a restored P-47 Thunderbolt.
John and Elizabeth (Liz), with Briza the size XL tabby
St. Bernard Marm, cats Vierna and Maya...RIP. ๐Ÿ˜ž
Current rig:

I already own a MH. I'd like to think I would have the courage to do just these things and not blow it all on me.

As far as RV's, I would keep my Bird. There isn't another RV being built today that I would trade it for. As far as additional toys, the first would be a Grumman HU-16 Albatross configured with a yacht interior.

We would probably buy some properties or at least rv lots in a few places along with a new rv. We then could travel or sit for whatever length of time we desired. Money wouldn't determine how much we travel as we could do what we wanted.

$500 million?

1. DW would design a Prevost conversion interior that is not as "glitzy" as most we see. Tasteful and home-like. Then we'd pay the premium to expedite the build.
2. No TOAD required. I would rent a luxury car or limo service wherever we were staying.
3. Hire a coach driver, for those trips you don't care to drive to.
4. Join an executive jet program (e.g. Net-Jets)to go along with #3.
5. Buy a site @ Bluewater Key, FL for wintering.
6. Consider buying Beach-front property on Cape Cod and add a pad with hookups for summering. Once we are done touring the country of course!!!

With that kind of money we may no longer travel by RV.

I'm gonna get something like an Earthroamer because I like to go places where normal RVs don't go. I'll probably get a diesel Class C or maybe a truck conversion so wifey can be more comfortable on longer trips. See the country. There are a few causes I'll set up annuities for.

Beyond that, I hope to retain my normal life. I'll let y'all know how it goes. ๐Ÿ™‚

If I won, I would keep the RV set-up that we have. I would pay off all the kids mortgages/cars. Set up annuities for GC. Fix up this old house, (I like where we live). Most of all, keep all of this real quiet! I really don't want to win such a big jackpot, used to work for wealthy people-they had problems all their own!

I would set up my family and friends, ASPCA, Shriner's hospital, and Make-A-Wish. Then I would enjoy my early retirement. I might be more inclined to start traveling via a Ferrari and luxury resorts.
