You know , personally I'm getting a little tire of all the hype the the truck manufactures are putting out in their ads about their trucks have more available payloads or the most hp or torque or can tow 100 more pounds than any other truck. In reality all of them have more than 99% of the people that buy them would ever need and then some.

It is difficult to argue your point because it is getting ridiculous. But on the positive side, we have exhaust braking, integrated trailer brake controllers, Ford and RAM offer a fifth wheel/goose neck prep package, and RAM offers rear air leveling. There is some effort to add useful features for those of us that tow. Let's hope the offerings broaden in the coming years.

Exhaust braking has been out for 10 years. IBC have been out longer than that. Trucks have gain a 100 hp in ten years. Really hasn't been a need for more hp since they hit 325 hp. People keep bragging about their brand truck has more power or payload or towing and the OEM's are going to continue to get off easy by doing a little tuning and raise the power.

That's a new option on the Ram, stealth mode. The bat's radar could not pick it up!

Yes it's a Bat. It happened last summer on our way to Banks Lake. I thought it was really cool looking so I left it on the grill but it disappeared on our way home.

The only RAM IMHO that is overboard is the Limited with the UGLY grill and BIG RAM emblem.

Yep prices have gone up...on all of them. Glad I purchased my retirement truck in 2013..It has all the "new stuff" that came out in '13, plus the Aisin tranny with 4.10 gearing, 385HP/ 850TQ and in Longhorn trim, for about $25K less than $76K:)

Sorry, one more thing. Do they think the public is going blind and can't see anymore? What is it with all the automakers putting badges and letters on their vehicles (front and back)so big you can read them from 2 miles out in the fog? If you can't tell what brand it is buy simply looking at it then you are probably one of the type of people that really don't car what it is. It won't be long and they will have emblems on the vehicles that say "TRUCK or SUV or CAR" so us blind people will know what type of vehicle is coming at us. LOL

OK, I'm done.

While I do think Ram makes a good looking truck, they have to be the worst offender here. Especially with those new "RAM" emblems that nearly cover the entire tailgate.

Ram the big offender.... with a single Badge....no truck name,no 150/1500, no super duper claims.....just a single badge. :h

DON'T make me post guady grills.

EDIT: OK, I will do it for those I know will.

Funny how prices creep, huh? My neighborhood was built in 1964. I paid $405K for my house 8 years ago and, believe it or not, that was a "deal" for where I live. At that time, I was the first non-original owner of a house on the street. Everyone else was an original owner since 1964. My one neighbor told me that her original purchase price back then was like $9,000 and they wondered how they would every be able to pay the mortgage.

I hope one day to be able to look back at my little $405K mortgage and laugh about how affordable it was...

This is the exact reason I bought a USED 2015 Ram. I couldn't afford new...

Nobody pays close to sticker on full size trucks, especially the higher end ones. I'd expect to pay at least $12-14k off on that kind of MSRP.

Here's one several of you may find quite funny. In January 03 I wanted a new Ford with the 6.0 because it was all the rage and suppose to be the best diesel ever offered in a truck. I went to 3 different dealers and they only had a few each and each one was priced at sticker plus $5,000. This included the one I bought but I had x plan pricing so the $5k and a good bit more went out the window. Whats funny is that $5k is about what I lost last year when I sold it because of the 6.0.
The only other time I have ever seen sticker plus was in 1979 when I wanted to buy a Honda Accord and you had to wait 6 months for one and pay $3k over sticker. Bought a 79 Monte Carlo instead because due to the price of fuel they were about giving away anything with a v-8 in it.

MFL ! Ha !!! I wouldn't know step one in Facebookin' ! Never have,
probably never will. :B

that being said... yep, if I won the Powerball.

I'd be one of the first people ever to pay MSRP ! (btw...in a Mercedes dealership in Scottsdale one time ,
saw a man walk in , point to the whip on the rotating block, announce out loud "how much for that car" , was
told "the price is on the sticker" , they lowered the platform, opened the big front window, he said, "I'll take it",
pulled a big roll of cash out, and completed the transaction. True story.

That Ram looks like one nice truck.
