Running lights staying on

What kind of trailer plug is this?

My new Silverado doesn't have the standard 4 pin plug. Instead, it has this type of plug above the 7 pin plug. I've never seen this before. Do I need some sort of adapter to tow a trailer that has a standard 4 pin flat plug?
