Carlisle HD owners feedback please!

I've decided to upgrade my Westlake tires after another examination. I'm considering Maxxis and Goodyear, but the Carlisle Hd's have a great price point. I'm looking for feedback from owners that have a number of miles on them.

Thanks.

WOW! Five years ago, if you mentioned Carlisle tires, you would almost get kicked off the forum.

Put them on last year and traveled 5000 miles, plus another 2k after that. So far all is good. Went from LR D to E.

The Carlisle HD has only been out around a year so you won't get any high mileage long term reports. Of course any tire less than a year old should have glowing reports.
If I was going with a ST tire on a trailer the Carlisle HD would be one of my top picks.

I've had them for over a year now. About 5,000 miles on them without issues and most of those miles are along the coast in the heat of summer. I really like the 81 mph speed rating, not that I'm going that fast but I do usually run right at 70 mph so it's a comfort having that cushion. I overkilled also and put Load Range E on out camper. I know looks of a tire aren't everything either, but they really look like a heavy truck tire whereas typical trailer tires always look flimsy.

My son just put Carlisle 16" HD on his FW. 4,500 miles so far. He also considered Endurance but I'm not sure what made him decide. I know the HD are about 3,500 lb rating and his FW is probably gross 10,000. I told him overkill is good when two tires are off the right edge of the road getting the snot beat out of them or it's 108 in Tx with sun on them and the pavement can cook eggs.

I am still running my Carlisle RH's. This is the 4th year with them and they have been great. They replaced another set of 5 year old Carlisles. My next set will be the Carlisle HD's.

On on my second TT with Carlisle. Just returned from a 3500 mile trip. Tires on this camper are now about 3 years old. They've got a LOT of miles on them, still good.

Had Carlisle's on my last camper for about 4 years when we traded the camper. Tires were still good, no hint of problems.

I have had Carlisles for a couple of years without any problems. Will probably get them again when the time comes.

I just put 4 new ones on my camper earlier this spring. I have about 2000 miles on them so far with no complaints.
