Get DEF wherever it is cheapest or most convenient. The composition is spelled out in Federal regs. There is NO allowance for โsecret sauceโ or any amount of deviation. Itโs made of two of the cheapest compounds known to mankind, so incentive to make it cheaper is lacking, as well as outright illegal.

I have not, but only because I can't fuel in the truck lanes. Unfortunately, the truck fuel nozzles do not fit my Canyon. If I could, I would when convenient.
I usually need a DEF fill with each oil change, so I include that with oil change supplies. I usually keep a 2.5 gal jug in the garage with my other consumable supplies (just in case).
While the fuel nozzles may not fit your truck, the DEF nozzle will. It's about the same size as a unleaded gas nozzle. I get my DEF at major chain truck stops and no problem with it.

I usually need a DPF fill with each oil change, so I include that with oil change supplies. I usually keep a 2.5 gal jug in the garage with my other consumable supplies (just in case).
