I`m happy to hear that you are getting better. That is a big eye opener on how quick life can change. Just concentrate on rehab and get back to work and camping when the time is right. Work will still be there when you get back!
Take care and keep us posted. We are here for you as well, sometimes getting the mind onto other things for a while is great therapy.
Best wishes,
Brad

Rick, blofgren,
We traded our HR for the 16' Jayco Seismic. 4112..Garage will give us storage area..No toys, NO GOLF CART:)...It's for next years retirement...and yep...truck will handle it:)
Don't have it here yet and haven't towed it yet. Purchased first week in August......had a stroke Aug. 19th.... Affected my left side.. I can walk now without a cane, have a slight limp...now going thru therapy working on my left arm..Have movement, but got a ways to go with it...hoping to return to work in the next month. Didn't plan on this...it's hard typing with one hand...It's a slow process trying to get back where I was before the stroke.
Dealer has been great.. My unit has been with them since...Bet I've had one of the longest PDI's ever:)..Dealer has already fixed some issues and I just need to be able to hook up and tow it home...can't do that right now......

"Mine are wearing really well too. The issue is that they vibrate like h*ll over about 65 mph. I usually tow around 62 mph so the issue isn`t as noticeable but drive the truck itself over that speed and there it is. I have been pricing out a new set of MS2`s and will probably bite the bullet and do it sometime this winter but I`m not happy about having to shell out the $ this soon after buying such an expensive vehicle. We have been looking at newer Acura MDX`s for my wife and low and behold, they come with Michelins from the factory as did her 2005"
That's what I don't understand,. When empty, I run speed limit, up to 72-75 mph...no vibration, no wobble, AND, though i don't recommend this, and shouldn't have done it, but once, just to see if I would have a vibration issue, I ran the truck up to a 100 mph on the interstate , and NO vibration..I've towed at 70 mph, (16.4K), and zero vibration...Went to that speed, up to 72 mph and maintained just to see if I would have an issue, anI had none...front tires at 80 psi, per placard, rear dually tires at 65 psi each, also per placard.....loaded, and unloaded..I don't rotate the tires....Never have on any dually I've owned...and never any kind of vibration at all:?
..just doesn't make sense...you'd think they'd all act the same to some extent..

I have all of the recalls too and the track bar one just came this week. I have looked at the welds and they look just fine so I am not at all worried about it. I'm thinking it may have affected a small amount of trucks because I have yet to read about anyone with poor welds.
I too am OK with the fact that they are making good on potential issues. I absolutely love the truck so I can live with it. I am still not happy about the vibrating POS General tires though....:M
Just bite the bullet and throw on a set of MS2's!
So far no recalls on my 15. Maybe 3rd year is a charm.
It's really weird how some of these trucks act with same tires..I too have OEM Generals on my truck and have never had a vibration or wobble issue..I've heard complaints about these tires, but also other popular brands...Guess I've been fortunate.
EXACTLY! My Dad's 12 LongHorn Dually 2wd has the Generals and at 25K his are wearing good. No rime or reason to it.
X 3 for mine, also Generals on it. Wearing extremely well.

recalls means the auto industry is paying attention to their product after it leaves their lot. That is a great thing and no one should complain about that!!
A "great thing"? How about building them correctly in the first place?
Wasn't that long ago when manufacturers would decide to not do recalls knowing customers will die as a result.
They didn't announce recalls until they were threatened with Federal Government involvement and many dealer and customer lawsuits. After all, what's a few dozen lives to several billion dollars of profits to the manufacturer?
I may come across as cynical, and I am, perhaps due to years of life experiences with business, manufacturing, technology and Government, NONE of whom can I trust to be Competent and Honest at this stage in my life.
I agree with you.... I am a retired auto mechanic... 43 years... the stuff they call READY for production... WOW.
some of you should have worked at a dealership in the 70's and 80's. talk about JUNK... bad design, bad manufacturing, bad assembly. MY OPINION.
