I use a couple of 2x4s longer than it is wide and a pulley system I rigged in my shed rafters. I have also installed and removed it by myself or with the help of one other person. It weights less than 100#. Maybe the 2x4 system will work for you with some legs longer than truck is high then just unclamp it, install 2x4s,legs and drive out. Reverse to install.
Posted earlier today about buying my 2014 Ram 2500 this afternoon.
Want to buy a truck cap that can comes off easily when needed and is reasonable in cost. Suggestions?

Do you need a truck cap? Have you considered folding tonneau covers like the ones made by BAK industries or the Undecover Flex? I'm personally between these two myself, they mount in with a clamping system and are easily removable when need be.
BAK Industries
Undercover Flex
