So if the 20ft lot is all that is left and you have a 22ft, 24ft, 30ft trailer you ARE out of luck.
Just keep in mind that this can work the other way too.
When I had a small 18ft hybrid trailer I got stuck in some pretty crappy campsites. These clearly wouldn't fit anything much larger, and were only installed to capture a little more revenue off the rigs that would happen to fit.
That is fine, but I shouldn't be paying the same as someone in a nice flat, grassy site when I'm in some corner of the park squeezed in next to the dumpster. A ghetto site should come with a ghetto price.

Here's the part I don't understand. The guy on the phone asked me what kind of rig I had. Told him a TT. He said the only site they had available was for a MH..... Why would it matter if I have a TT or a MH? Do you have a site available? Yes, then rent it to me.SoundGuy wrote:
To quote your thread title - "Not sure of the logic" - WHY are you asking for an explanation from those here on the forum who could only speculate anyway and not the "guy on the phone"? :hAmericalVette wrote:

A few weeks ago we decided to take a weekend trip to one of our favorite RV spots. We called a week in advance which in the past had been more than adequate. I guess other people have caught on how nice this place is. We were told they were full. Here's the part I don't understand. The guy on the phone asked me what kind of rig I had. Told him a TT.
