Our new 2013 F250 Lariat

Well yesterday we had narrowed our search down to 2 different F150 6.2l trucks. Was going to buy one of them today. Well before we walked out we did another search and found a 2013 F250 6.2L Lariat just what we were looking for and 2,000 below our max price. We are happy happy happy.

Learjet, I have a Magna Flo exhaust tip just like that on my Duramax, beats the Elmer Fudd gun barrel they come with.

I added Bushwacker Fenders to my one ton and like them a lot. I left mine unpainted, black. Not my truck in the picture BTW, mine is the sand (gold) color

We are using a 6.2 to pull a 16K trailer but with 4.30 gears and it's doing a fine job, our empty mileage isn't as high but we only us it to pull .

OP after you get our truck broke in it wil really come alive.

Very, very nice truck.

Here's my perfect F250.
Just put in your Zip Code. This is the F250 I'd build for myself. It was about $5K more than my current truck plus it's not very fuel efficient. I had to bypass on a F250 as my truck is also my daily 70 mile work commuter so it has to do triple duty, it has to do work duty to pull my trailer and haul loads, it has to be my commuter car, and it has to be my family Van when needed for 6 people.

If I lived within 12 miles of work, didn't have to haul my kids and their friends here and there, I would had gone for a F250 but it was also $5K more because it's X-plan price is $2K more than my truck and had $3K less rebates.

I opted to omit power seats since I have a hard time getting them set right opposed to a standard seat, don't use adjustable pedals, don't need rain sensing wipers, and don't need auto locking doors. Unfortunately the Chrome package had no incentives either and chrome isn't worth $2K in my book either.

Nice truck. My 2013 is exactly like it except that it's the XLT and doesn't have the paint trim along the bottom and wheel wells. I wish it did. I'm trying to decide what I can do to it to keep it from lookng like a "company truck". The Retrax bed cover, clearance lights, and fog lights helped, but it still needs something.

i'm using a 2012 6.2 liter 3.73 4X4 to pull a 10K empty, 11K trailer loaded. It's been over the eastern mountains four times. Works great. I don't regret trading in my 2006 Diesel one bit. It's nice being able to hear the stereo system. Couldn't stand the volume level needed with the diesel, so I drove with no entertainment.

Nice truck. I just got pretty much the same truck about 3 weeks ago. Love it. All white 2013, Lariat F250 6.2 3.73, chrome package 4X4, all the bells and whistles. And it came with a chrome exhaust tip already installed..

yes the 6.2 is really quite to you get it up to @ 4000 rpm....then it sounds GREAT !!!! 🙂

The drive my test netted about 14mpg rural driving. I need mine as a daily driver, too. thats why i drove two Fusions then (hybrid and 2.0L). I'll expect a full mileage report, towing and unloaded. What rear end? I presume the 3.73?

Yes the 6.2l gas with 3.73. We had to drive from GA to SC to get it and on the way home on the highway we were getting 16.9 to 17.2 running 75-80mph.

Today using to run around in we are seeing around 14.9. It is going to be my daily driver as well.

We have not camped since last summer and are anxious to go. Hopefully we will be able to take a weekend trip in a few weeks. Go to get the milage breakin done.

Nice rig. I drove one Friday and really liked it. It was soooo quiet, until i stood on it. Very nice factory exhaust sound. Not sure I'd commit yet. I need to hook on to my 10k brick and see how it pulls. My 6.4L has me spoiled.

Good choice. Given the difference in price between the F150 and the F250, I don't see why anyone wouldn't opt for the F250 if he was going to do any kind of towing. It opens up a lot of upgrade possibilities.
