Howdy and welcome to winter. I was just wondering what you are paying for propane this season. We are in Fl and our RV park charges 20$ for a 30# fill.
we have gone all over the US from year to year and it seems out West we pay the most. How much do you pay and where?

just under $2.00 here in Blaine WA at the Northwest Propane fuel depot. Never buy at gas stations if I can help it.

Central Jersey:
Two gas stations in town that sell propane are charging $5/gallon.
The only propane dealer nearby is $3.50.

Roughly $4 a gallon here in the North. 5 gallon 20 pounder is $20 to fill or exchange, your choice.

Only benefit to fill is some savings topping off tanks that are not empty.

We are around 2.00 per gallon in Oregon. Disposable 16oz, shot up to $3 so , not likeing to be screwed, begain fillin my own. So far no worries

Hi,

In Florida you may well be getting Butane rather than Propane. The differences are more BTU's per unit volume for Butane--and a much higher boiling point. It doesn't matter so long as it doesn't get too cool. They may sell a Propane/Butane mix. Butane boils at 30 f and Propane boils at -43.6 f.

Butane is $1.22 per gallon
Propane is $2.453 per gallon

I just filled up a bottle in NC and the price was the same. Don't remember exactly but $20 is about what it cost.
