Record high price for used 2018 Ram 2500?

Saw a used 2018 Ram 3500 4x4 mega cab Cummins/Aisin Big Horn for sale, unknown mileage. Guy has had it since the first part of November, and the price is $76,000. 😮

I would agree or a dealer just being stupid. You have to work pretty hard just to get up to that price MSRP let alone used price.

I had my 2006 RAM in my sig in for the air bag recall. When I went to pick it up, 3 mechanics met me and asked if I were interested in selling it. I asked how much they'd give me, they asked what did I pay for it. I told 'em $32,000 and they said SOLD! Then the bidding started. I whoa'd 'em and asked what a new one cost. Well, that ended that! Who in their right mind would spend $60,000+ for a brand new truck?!! My first house, in California yet, was less than $50,000. Ha!
I'm sure glad I bought that truck when I did. It will be my last truck I ever buy barring any catastrophic event.

I was at a local RV show a couple weeks ago and there was a GMC Sierra 2500 with the Duramax for sale. Being a past Dmax owner I was a bit interested so I sat down inside. It was priced at 57K which I thought seemed reasonable but a bit high - That same truck can be had for mid-lower 50K at Dennis Dillon. As I sat I looked more closely at the window sticker and it was actually USED with 30K miles. Holly hell..... good luck with that!!!

I wouldn’t trust whomever is selling it.. The 2500’s DONT come with the Aisin transmission. Only 3500’s and up have the Aisin.

I would guess some "fly by night" used car outfit. They routinely WAYYYY overprice their stuff, hoping some sucker will walk in and offer a couple thousand less thinking they are getting a deal.
If I were you, I would offer him 45K just to see the look on his face.
