Doesn't feel like Memorial weekend at all. We're in Woodstock NY and 1t's 48 degrees and raining on and off. Earlier in the week it was 88!

Oh well, at least it's supposed to dry out over night and stay dry though Monday. Only in the 60's though.

I uploaded the photo from my phone using the mobile photobucket copy and pasting. I didn't have access to the picture sizes at the time.

We had a really nice time on Sunday and since both Sunday and Monday were dry, packing up was fine.
We had the thermostat set at 68, but the furnace barely ran since I also plugged in a ceramic heater. We did get some condensation on just the back bunk canvas. It was the first time in three years owning the trailer that we had any. The back bunk gets less airflow since half of it is behind the bathroom wall.

Well, kind of late to the party. LOL

We actually decided to go to Lake George, NY on Friday. It was going to be our maiden voyage and we were too excited to let the weather spoil it for us. The HTT passed the test with flying colors. We set the thermostat to 62 at night. Should have gone higher but wasn't sure how much the blower drew from the batts.
It was worth it just for few hours of sunshine on Sunday and Monday in that beautiful town.

PAThwacker,

Being a senior member, you should know the size of the pictures that can be posted on this forum.
No wonder moderators always had problems with pictures, if we, the senior members can't even show the newbies the proper way to post.

Weekend went well, started with rain, winds, 38 degree temps, and limited recreational fun. Best darn weather for the pack up and ride home. That setup has a combined weight of 11,700lbs for he first trip of he year.

We had the 80lb canoe, and my daughers bike on THULE gear, not fly by night tongue or bumper contraptions. Canoe only had cross straps with thule canoe bar ends and didnt move an inch in 220 miles highway/secondary travel. Complete setup on the sub was $660 and is used 98% of the time not camping.

It was snowing Friday morning near Syracuse as we packed to go up to the eastern end of Lake Ontario. Weather there was decent, but quite cool and VERY windy!

No rain, as of yet, no cold weather, warm and muggy, and no camping. Volunteered to work the long Holiday weekend since we will be going on vacation in June. Then we will see if we see any cold rainy weather then.

We just bought our camper and were planning on driveway camping this weekend to get our feet wet. I dont think the temp here in VT got above 42 today and I even saw a few snowflakes mixed into the rain at one point. ๐Ÿ˜ž

Needless to say, we are in the house and the camper will have to wait for another day...

I'm just north of you. This is the first Memorial Day camping trip we've missed in 6 or 7 years.... With this weather, not missing it AT ALL!!!! We made a decision to go to the Good Sam/Camping World Rally in Syracuse, June 13-16 instead of the Memorial Day mob-scene.... Not regretting it, as it's 45F, breezy, and raining here in the Albany area.....

Stay dry & warm, and try to have some fun!!!
