It is not a good night to be traveling from NE Texas all the way to New Jersey. Looks like some powerful ice storm and snow will be on it's way. The schools in much of Tennessee and kentucky have closed for Monday. March is coming in like a Lion for some of us!!

We had rain on Saturday for the first time in 70 days. Wah wah wah poor us.

Mesa weather has been fabulous all this season - sorry to Florida guy who has forgotten the bad weather they got earlier.

Folks stuck for hours with ice and sleet on I-20 near Tyler, I-30 between Greenville and Sulphur Springs and I-45 near Corsicana yesterday.

Today - Tuesday - Ice and sleet are falling on I-35 south of Waco and I-45 between Centerville and Huntsville.

Hope it clears by Saturday because we are out of here headed farther south.

Were there are lot of Snowbirds that have pulled out this year and headed to a different spot further south due to this extremely cold winter?

Rolled into NC last night after 10 weeks in FL. What a difference a few hundred miles makes! We had been warned that our pump was frozen so we brought water in jugs. The power had been out and we had no phone or internet but the pump cranked right up and we are good. Got everything attended to today. The worst weather we have personally experienced up here was in March of 1994 so we have our fingers crossed. Stay warm everybody. lizzie

Well.....it has to be said,
80 degrees here in Florida. Apparently the ONLY state this winter that didn't have freezing temps and blizzard after blizzard. :C

I do feel for you guys though.

We have probably 2 inches of sleet on the ground here in Maumelle, Arkansas. Looks like my camping and fishing keeps getting farther away. So sick of this winter.

This winter is way too scary to leave the Puget Sound, I'll take the 48 degrees and light rain.

Yep, sleeted most all day here in north Texas. Temps dropping to close to 10 degrees tonight. Many schools closed tomorrow.
That just ain't right for north Texas in March. ๐Ÿ˜ž
