How many of you diesel owners use it. I'm buying a new ford and they are still recommending it,

It may have cost more,but my '01 PSD Excursion got 10.5 mpg towing our 96003 35' travel trailer. I put in a DP tuner and boosted it to 12.5 towing 16 in town and 22 on the freeway. Let's just see your V10 do that.

I picked a brand of diesel that does not need nor recommend to put anything in the tank except clean #2 diesel. That is what I do so no added expense for me.

We use it in our MH. Power Service in the white bottle.

More fuel mileage,more power,=more cost, you know that going in..but you find the trade off worth it,but,not for all....thats why they make so many different makes,models.
And, I use the Ford cetane booster

Haven't used a cetane booster, or felt I needed to.

2009 6.4 I use it. Very few diesel pumps have the Cetane # listed.

Count us in. We use it on the smart cars. They run a little quieter and seem to perform a little better. The little Mercedes motors were designed for european fuel which has higher cetane levels.

As long as I'm still in warranty, I use the Ford PM22.

Diesel Kleen added with every gallon of fuel since new .... our truck was built prior to the introduction of the ultra low sulfur fuel .... at best its Mercedes engine is loud (thankfully they did a great job of sound proofing the cab) but without adding Diesel Kleen it makes the old Cummins sound like an electric vehicle .... I do find it a bit surprising that they still recommend it for vehicles being produced today

Diesel Kleen, Opti-Lube or Ford's PM22...whichever I have on hand. Mostly has been the Diesel Kleen. White bottle in really COLD weather and grey bottle all other times.
