Sad.

Oh I remember! Even as a kid I thought it was strange that ol' Charlie was upset about not being caught and eaten rather than left alone in the ocean to live. Marketing at its best.

I think but, I'm not really sure, that the ad campaine was based on a movie where someone named Charlie falls in the water and turns into a fish. He then has to figure out a way to get out of the water to become human again.
Or, at least that was my take on it. I may be wrong?
I think it might have been Don Rickels or Don Knots but, I really don't remember. It's been a long, long, time. I was a kid and I may have gotten this all mixed up in my head.

I think it is a good idea to have that protected, even if it is just behind a cheap plastic door like the outside shower. Keeps a drunk from deciding to use that as a urinal at the minimum.
Um,,,Um,,, well first of all a drunk could not stand up straight enough to aim that good. And , second, well,,, he must be a small drunk if he is going to get that in there.
Or, maybe I'm just bigger then everybody else. 😛
(I apologize to anyone who is offended by this post. I tried to be careful in how I worded it. I will remove it if I have said anything wrong.)

If I wanted to I could p@@ 4ft up into a water inlet-not bragging just a fact-However, last I checked, urine does not hurt anyone although it might amuse some.
That said there is a wasp here in the SW (maybe in the whole US for that mater) which makes a nest in small caliber holes, like the breather tube on the fresh water tank, I have had up to 6 inches of nest in my breather line. I use a brass gun barrel brush as a plug in the breather line for that reason. If I had a door on the inlet that would not be a mod I would have needed. So while not needing a lock a latching door might be nice.
