How to stop neighboring campers from

This may sound silly, but I am currently camping and one neighbor cuts across my site while he is going and coming from his boat.

It is not that he is cutting through BUT when he does, he is within 2 feet of my camper door and within 4 feet of us sitting there talking.

I struck up a conversation with him and during this conversation asked if he would mind crossing the campsite a little further back from our camper. At that point he stormed off and said kiss my a..

Anybody have a simialr experience and if so were you able to resolve it?

How about string some fishing line around your campsite neck and ankle high.

We have a rear deck on fifth wheel and our rot/chow mix loves to hang out on it. When someone comes to close he let's them know real quick. Usually they only get close once. Also had a teenage boy walk head first into the deck two years ago while cutting through our site at night, left a nasty gash on his head. We now put string lights on it.

On Thursday we provided a pot of gumbo that served 80 folks in the adjacent campers in an hour and a half. It was a great weekend. Moral of the story for folks worried about their neighbors in a campground,,,,go where you feel comfortable with the enviorment.

Only a white pair of shorts? Ahhh life's best memories.

So what do white shorts mean?

Seems odd to say she was wearing white shorts, didn't see the color of her shirt or shoes?

Set up sniper points around the perimeter of your site and stand your ground.

OR

Hire professional protesters to picket your neighbor(s) with signs that read "Don't Tread on Me!" and "Green Lives Matter!".
Anyway you do it the offending nabe(s) should be gone in no time.

As long as they do not touch my stuff or drop any trash or pet packages... just does not bother me.
Good luck.

I stick to the road and don't cut through people's stalls as I was taught respect! I like some of the ideas and may have to adopt them!

After a friendly conversation and the other party shows their 'stupid' I have no problem spraying them with my garden hose.

"Opps..just cleaning MY site"

That's right ---MY SITE.
I paid rental fee for the exclusive use of that site for X amount of days
I have the right to it during that time frame and if I have NOT invited you then you are NOT welcome and I will deal accordingly with your 'dumbness' until you get the message.

But now after reading 'AmericanlVette' response I might start using a different tactic
Is it time for your medication or mine?

Next time he walks thru your site on the way to his boat, follow him to the boat and hop in. When he asks what you think you are doing, say "I thought we were sharing our things?" With a sad face

You weren't thinking fast enough. When he said 'kiss my a..' you should have said, 'Ok, drop your pants and bend over!' If he had the nerve, a good swift kick...

(Your excuse is, you're hard of hearing and don't hear the letter "S" and you thought he said "kick my a..")

Next time he walks so close to your camper, stand completely naked at the screen door and whistle at him! I guarantee he'll NEVER cut through another campsite again!

Now days, you can't be to sure about that. What if he whistles back?

I find that most campsite cutting has happened to me when in the east. I think it is something that easterners are used to and put up with it.
