Host jobs may get pretty hectic at times. Usually no pay just free room and board and you provide the trailer.
Some have you cleaning the bath houses, trash cleanup around the sites after folks leave, turning in reports on who is there etc... If they have cabins guess who cleans those...
Usually the telephone emergency contact spot...
We was interested but never did it. Always checking where we go on how it works. Some places work you pretty hard...
One place up on the Blue Ridge was pretty neat as it was next to a visitor center/restaurant and you got one free meal a day and a RANGER Handheld radio unit for emergencies...
Another place sold firewood and it was the host job to keep the firewood rack always full up... They did have a four wheel drive type utility golf cart thing for you to use...
There also seems to be a good ole buddy system with the host setups and the good places are always taken around the country. All of them rotate from one place to the next among themselves...
Overall it Sounds like a good idea though
