Warmer weather around the corner!

Just cleared a good 15" of snow and ice off the trailer roof. Sounds like next week were going to have a melt off with temps in the 40's... it's been so consistently cold in CT I can't remember what that feels like! LOL Lets hope the weather is finally turning the corner!

Oh well....it is 73 already. Back up on the roof of my house I go today to put a second coat of paint on. A chore that has to be done every 3 years or so.

Winter! What winter around here. Jan & Feb were like April. March was like Jan. Crazy weather.

That picture above of a vehicle on a road going through the man made snow-crevice brings back memories.

My young DW and myself centuries ago did the same thing up in the High Uintas in northeastern Utah. We followed right along behind the huge blower cutting the crevice. Our 67' fastback Mustang was REALLY out of place in that surreal setting!

Did I say the weather was finally turning the corner? :E well little did I know the corner was still another 6 weeks away. With that said next week here in CT the temps are finally going to start having that spring feel to it...NOW I think we have turned the corner! :C :C

Yea, it might take a while to melt. This pic is on I75 north of St. Ignace in the U.P. I have not confirmed it but it was on someones FaceBook page, so it must be real:B

I'm sure we're not out of the woods by a long shot, but we'll take what we can get.

X 2! Looking at 50 degrees for a day or two. Thankfully we had the long thaw in January which melted quite a bit of the groundcover. Unfortunately at this point we have close to 3 feet on the ground.

I do, however, deal with the snow and cold much better than the heat. When it's cold I can bundle up and WANT to move to stay warm. In the heat I crumple into a heap of melting skin and bones. Then I cry.

I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have ended up where I needed to be

Yup, just watched the weather report here in Florida and FINALLY after weeks of freezing temps of 60 degrees it is going to be up in the 80's this week! :W

Warming up here in PA over the next few days, upper 40's to 50 degrees. Only problem is that around the next corner we are facing temps back into the 20's for next week.

For the folks buried in the snow, I hope things warm up and thaw out. But, out here in the desert, I sure wish it would stay cool a while longer. We hit the high 80's this week and that's waaay to early for us, because we know the relentless heat is just around the corner.
