These are selling for $2k less than I paid 3.5 years ago. I paid 1.5 percent under dealer invoice with no dealer fees or add ons under the family/employee discount program. 371,000 TT towing miles ago. It's been really a great lil truck & efficient for say a wet TT 7,500 pounds or less.

Ram has been pumping these things off the line since approved earlier this year as they may not provide an 18 MY ED and just sell these until the MY 19 ED arrive sounding like summer of 18. Where else do you see a full size 4WD diesel for under $40k. Granted it's a light duty truck but if you don't have a HD job it seems like a great deal to me. BTW 100k warranty.

N-trouble, You may not have noticed many in your area but they did sell 107,000 with this motor in the first 2.5 years. Read this dealer bought 192 EDs last month and literally has enormous lot full of them.
Transportr TT & boats RAM EconoDiesel Factory TBC, Tow mirrors, Hitch camera, Axle to frame air bags, Tune w turbo brake, Max tow 9,200 CGAR 7,800 CVWR 15,950 axle weights 3,340 steer 2,260 drive Truck pushed head gasket at 371k has original trans at 500k

I think I have seen a total of 3 Ecodiesels in the wild since they have come out.

I would buy a gasser HD truck before even considering one of these.

I'm not sure I would want to own one, but they are very common here in Western Canada.

Mark it up so they can discount em I guess?

Probably some sort of tax game too, for the manufacturer and dealers both.

18K off puts the market price where it should be to start. A little less profit would sell more trucks, now if they just made an F series.

The ecodiesel only came back on production recently. Unless they had some pigeon holed somewhere for the new epa flash. So I didnโ€™t think they had that many days in supply of the ED.

Seems to be a fairly common discount on 1/2 ton trucks. I wish they would do that on the HD's!

Negotiated a similar discount on my 2500 last year, late November. Probably different for every market. Also low trim level don't seem to sell as well as the fancier ones.

15-20k off msrp is pretty common for any isn't it? Maybe not advertised or offered right away.

Unless they pumped a lot of those into the dealer lots I would think they could have sold them at a lower discount.
