If they ever up the towing capacity they will have to do something. There is a big jump from 2nd TC unlocked to 3rd locked. I have no problems taking off but unless I run like I'm in a drag race through 3rd locked then it bogs pretty bad and will gear back to second. It's aggravating when running through rolling hills (bumps) on the backroads 30-40mph. The trans gets confused sometimes doing this. I have had my foot on the floor in 3rd with the TC locked and running 1,100 RPMs. When it finally decides to gear down it does it violently and just about the time I crest the bump to go down the other side.
Can't remember u have AISIN or 68RFE? also are you running the TowHaul mode?
MeAgain u have any of these issues?
