I'm one that can't leave well enough alone regarding vehicle performance. I can't be the only one around here... What have you all done ? This rig is pretty modest so far.

Well our 09 2500HD started as the tow rig, then the wife decided she wanted to race it. She took it to the NHRA division 6 championships in 2014 and 2015. These are the mods.

Used to run my Mustang down at the local drag strip. Got that out of my system. Now reliability is the measure of performance to me. Although I did swap in some 4.10 gears to replace the 3.55 ratio. Puts the existing power in the right spot far more often.

Since the hijack is in full force, lol, what kind of needle is that?
I've been using an actual needle fitting for the front drive shaft but seem to destroy it and only get grease in it about 1of 3 times!
150kmi and it's gotten greased twice I think.....so far so good

Truck has plenty of power. Not going to do anything that might impact warranty on that expensive engine.

X2 I'm not one to spend 65k, start moding and risk voiding any warranty, lol

My last truck needed suspension and wheel upgrades for the weight it was carrying but was never a slouch in performance and was left with stock engine and transmission even after the warranty was long gone. My current truck carries all the weight I can load and keeps any speed I ask of it, so it is mostly stock except for the bed, boxes, gooseneck and receiver (give me a break, it is a chassis cab).

After the warranty expires, I may consider modifications to increase durability/reliability/serviceability but see no current need to increase performance.

Oh and I forgot I added BD Diesel exhaust brake...

The KW mod comes with all of the above and up to 2050lbs-ft of torques...

HA, nice to hop in and drive these newer trucks! DuraFlaps, B&W, MS2's, Highway Products tool box and now a MaxBrake that's it.

That it is!
And I will be starting to mix the Metamucil in my morning Monster drink apparently too, cause if it had a new anything in the drive, it would stay stock for a while unless the emissions got overly effed up and made me throw them away one day!

As justification for this "leave it stock" pansy behaviour, the diesel pickup is now not the fastest rig in the stable, so I can go beat up on ricers with something else! Just can't smoke em out!

You're on the wrong site for that. Several of us but we're in the minority around here.
Too much geritol, not enough red bull!

LOL.

For me. Turned up pump a hair, performance exhaust, manual waste gate controller on my 93 diesel.

For my LBZ Duramax. Nothing, it has more than enough power right now. In fact I would like to detune it down to about 300 HP. But I drive it with pedal left so there's no real reason to do that.
