What's your favorite campground experience based on the view from your RV?

Boondocking coordinates welcome (feel free to PM them if you want to keep them secret).

We did North Carolina to Rocky Mountain and Yellowstone last year and went up to Maine this year. Trying to plan future trips and get ideas for places to "star" on my google map.

Angel Lake Nevada, - not the RV park at the bottom, the actual lake - but I wouldn't recommend the road to anything over 24'. The view? You're at nearly 8500' and can see clear into Utah. Just outside Wells on the way to SLC. http://www.recreation.gov/camping/angel-lake/r/campgroundDetails.do?contractCode=NRSO&parkId=70231

There used to be a NFS CG at Maroon Lake. Amazing scenery. Closed for some years now.

Love the view from Devil's Garden CG in Arches NP.

Some sites in Yosemite Valley have amazing views, but oh the crowds ๐Ÿ˜ž

As noted the east-side CG's at Glacier NP must make the list.

Twenty years ago we used to boondock at a great place on the rim of Canyonlands. 4x4 with a PUP to get out there. Had to be careful on those night time potty calls. One wrong step and it was 2000' straight down. Camping is now prohibited there and all the access roads blocked.

Some of the beachfront sites at the Oregon SP CG's along the coast have quite a nice view.

I'm sure I'll think of more. But I must also point out the best scenery isn't from any campground. The first time one gets out of their car and walks up to Moraine Lake in Banff, one's jaw is just resting on the ground. Unbelievable.

We haven't had too many sites with great views unfortunately. Our favorite in Georgia, so far, is Stone Mountain:
