That's interesting. My Fuzion's stereo is wired the exact opposite of yours. The outside speakers and inside subwoofer are wired through the amp. The inside speakers are wired from the head unit only. Maybe an assembly line screw up on yours.

That's funny, I remember yours being wired through the outside light switch and only worked while you were making coffee? :B

The amp was a bust! I had one of those POS Pyle marine amps from Amazon and it was far weaker than just the head unit. Oh well, I'll have to keep an eye out for a small amp with a proven history.

Today I finally corrected a minor factory fault on my Fuzion. It annoys me to no end that they tied the bathroom fan power into the lights. The fan will not run unless the lights are on. I had to remove the television and the false wall behind it to get access to run the wires, but in the end it was worth it.

Unless I am missing something, the only place I could find a ground in the control panel is the fuel gauge. I wired both power and ground to the fuel gauge and it works like a champ. Next on the list is to install an amp to power the outside speakers and the ones in the garage area. I would like to meet the genius that makes the decisions on how to set these things up! With the inside speakers powered by an amp and the outside/rear speakers only powered by the stereo, there is a huge difference in volume between them.

Sad story for sure, but sounds like your doing O K.

Joe,

Nice job on the install......that is a big job! The E-Z Flex does give a much improved ride. Also, shocks on the suspension would make a big difference as well to control the bounce which I'm sure the E-Z flex is helping to do now. Is there an option to install shocks on these units? Also, the Trailer Saver Air hitch is a great hitch that absorbs a lot of the impact on the pin and reduces fatigue on the hitch/pin/trailer frame and occupants. ๐Ÿ™‚

I'm hoping it will help on concrete highways. With the OEM suspension the chucking is terrible.

Joe,

Please report back once you've tested it out on the road. I have the same all steel stock suspension on my '11 Voltage, and am looking at the EZ Flex and wet bolts.

Regarding chucking, are you running a rigid pin box and hitch? The first month I had our trailer (and same truck), it was a nightmare. Horrible chucking. Felt like the trailer was going to snap off the back of the truck on CA freeways. Since we are full timers, I splurged on a Trail Saver TS3 air hitch, along with air bags on the rear axle, and it solved 99% of the harshness issue, and 90% of the chucking. An air bag pin box would probably do much of what the air hitch does. I now watch the pin box constantly floating up and down on the hitch, and it's amazing how much it moves. Anyways, if the trailer suspension doesn't improve it as much as you want, you might look into adding air to the truck/pin/hitch in some combo.
