Recently saw an ad for Fiber Fix https://www.fiberfix.com From the ad I saw & from the website, it looks like some pretty awesome stuff. If it's as good as they claim, sounds like it'd be something to add to the tool box.

Looks interesting. Will need to add some to the fix it bay. Have used Silicone Rescue Tape to fix a couple of leaky hoses, including a radiator hose, with really good results. Might be better in an application where you want things to remain flexible. The Fiber Fix looks like it sets up pretty rigid.

Ah, duct tape & WD-40 the handy man's secret weapon...and now Fiber Fix! I'm thinking seriously about getting some, now that I know of someone that's used it, & it works! Plus I can get it locally!!!

I just happened to use some a month or so back. With our kitchen sink in a slide out, the flexible drain hose developed a crack on the top. Of course, we didn't notice it until we were a bunch of miles away from home. My first thought was to seal it up with duct tape until we could get home to replace the drain hose, but with several weeks to go on this trip, I was leery of a temporary repair. So, off to a local Lowe's to see if I could find a new piece of hose. They didn't have any hose that would work, so I ended up buying some of this 'Fiber Fix' instead. Pretty easy to apply. Soak it in some water for a few seconds, then wrapped it around the hose. Dried and hardened very quickly, and it did the trick. Gloves come with the kit, and need to be used as otherwise you'd end up with the adhesive bonded to your fingers. I was sufficiently impressed that another kit has since been added to my miscellaneous 'fix it' bin alongside my duct tape and WD40.

Yes, we have some. Wife says "look the stuff we saw on shark tank, get some." Stuff must work good because never had any reason to use it. Sort of like bringing extra parts along I guess.

I wonder how long it stays good if not used?

I wonder if it peels the skin, they are using gloves to put it on, if it is everything that they claim it is preety good, why didn't they have it when I had my rusty old VW camper, I could have used it to hold the roof on, rain gutter fusted, nearly lost the whole roof last gime I drove it.
