I need a good disposable glove solution for dumping

Have any of you found a good disposable glove that you are happy with to keep in your water bay? I've got two problems with the cheap box of gloves I found at Home Depot:
  1. They are hard to put on because they are so tight and
  2. I haven't found a simple and elegant solution for hanging them on the door inside the bay to keep them dry.

I use some paint stripper gloves from Lowes for dumping.

I also have a box of cheap nitrile gloves from the pharmacy that I use for pumping diesel, which would work also as well for dumping tanks.

I don't usually wear gloves, but I keep a box in the bay for those times when the dump station is disturbing. I don't like latex gloves, and use vinyl disposable from Home Depot. Same ones I use around the workshop for finishes.

More important to me is to have a can of these handy. I keep a can in the bay for cleaning up my hands after dumping. Also keep a can in the cab of my truck, because they work great for cleaning my hands after using the often messy diesel pumps.

Yep, this is exactly what I use. I always have two of them in the truck.

Couple of years ago was behind a fellow at the dump station. He was wearing shorts and sandals and long heavy yellow gloves. He finished dumping then held up the drain hose and let the water run in to clean it out...while standing in the sandlas and leting that water run all over his feet....so much for sanitation.

I rarely use gloves as I handle only the outside of the drain hose, then use a wet wipe when I get back in the truck.

I don't use gloves but I do keep a tube of the wet wipes in my truck and I thoroughly wipe my hands with a couple of the wipes when I am done. Gloves make my hands sweat!

Just buy a bottle of hand sanitizer, use liberally and rinse. If it is your stuff, you shouldn't be afraid of a little splash back. After all, you wipe those parts and wash them.

I work in construction and have been around waste water for replacing pumps and other projects. Been in places where the gloves didn't cover enough, and the yellow suit would make it hard to work. I do have all the hepatitis shots because my doctor recommended it. I carry disinfecting wipes and spray and give things a spray or wipe down if I'm nervous. If gloves are your thing you have many choices. I would still wash afterwards. The one thing that is hard to do is wash the thought from your mind when a pipe you are taking apart is under pressure and sprays in your face.

What kind of gloves do y'all use when you use the restroom???

When you flush the toilet in a restroom there is not a 30 gallon tank of raw sewage behind it! :W

I don't put my hands in the poop, I just hold the outside of the hose, when finished, I wash my hands with soap and water

How you handle your hose is something you should keep to yourself. ๐Ÿ™‚

We use the following gloves from Amazon. I ordered the XL size and they fit a little loose and have worked out well for us. Then I use sanitizer as well.

I use the heavy black nitrile ones which are the same ones I use for working on cars and doing other messy stuff (painting, etc). $10 for 100 at Amazon. They are tough and multi purpose.

in case no one mentioned it; try baby powder on your hands before you put the gloves on, some gloves have it inside, most don't. you will find the gloves go on easy and off with powder.
