I have my house and all of my toys with Safeco. It's been really good. Had a claim after a hurricane and the adjuster found all kinds of things to pay for so we had no deductible to pay. Had one comp claim on DW's car and had a check within 3 days and have had no rate increases because of either incident. Collision/comp on TT is about $250.00 year.

your best bet is to comparison shop around. avoid the bargain basement insurers...The General, etc...they're great in taking your premiums but short on everything else.

we've had State Farm on all of our vehicles forever. great service, reasonable rates, etc. if you're not a fulltimer then check them out as well.

I'd suggest shopping for the coverage you want. I've been with Progressive from day one with no problems. Filed one claim and they took care of everything and even gave me more money than the claim called for. That's what I call service. Rates haven't gone up either.

Progressive for us. They had extremely good rates for full timers. Just as an afterthought we had them give us estimates on three vehicles and they saved us tons on those policies!

The truck and trailer are with Travelers/Premier. My agent checks rates each year to be sure we are lowest she has. Been with her for 27 years, cars, campers house etc. one call and she does all the leg work. Rest entry moved 3 cars to Safety as well as the house. Not sure if they do trailers but she will look at the next renewal.

Check with brokers that handle various companies.......Miller, Explorer RV etc.

Get as many quotes as possible.......all based on same coverage/limits/deductibles so that you can compare fairly.
Then check out on-line customer service issues.

Add - USAA.
Farm and City is an agency (broker) as is Blue Sky - that write insurance nation-wide.
Had several on the list - as well as quotes from some of the others.

Often there are regional companies that do better than the major (country-wide) big names.
Check for those - apples to apples, always for exactly the same coverage/s. You may be pleasantly surprised.

Good luck.

Another vote for National Interstate. They saved us hundreds on our 2012 Class C. RV's are something they specialize in and you owe it to yourself to get a quote from them.

Are you looking for Liability & Property Damage or just Road Service??
Good Sam has both types.
Try and get one where you can notify them when your RV is put away for the winter and they will save you money.
Take a look here: Good Sam Insurance

I lived in Ga. and had 2 MH's. 1st one was Insured with Progressive. Had a sizeable rate increase so I shopped it and found GEICO with the best rate. A bunch of factors determine premium such as age of RV, location of where it is registered, driving record, and age of operator. When I moved my MH to GEICO, I moved all vehicles to them. Still use them until rates increase and I will shop it again.

Like I mentioned in previous posts. I am not a GS fan. I dropped GSERS and have Coach Net but I am very happy with National General for my RV. I have had National General since about 1988. BTW I have State Farm on my S&B. I dropped State Farm in 1988 on my vehicles after being insured since 1954. The only problem I have had with National General is if we have a problem you have to insist on talking to a supervisor. This is the 21st century. Everyone seems to have idiots for employees. Not just limited to any one company.

We have insured all of our vehicles and fifth wheel with Geico for over 20 years now. We have had good luck with them.
