Back when I special-ordered mine, I ordered/specified many different cables under the roof, in the walls, and in the basement. I also ordered many other so called "specials". Yes, I paid extra for every single one.
But, I don't know if Newmar is the only manufacturer that will work with your dealer on these "specials".

If only just the wiring was installed or channeling with a line left in it so that future wiring can be done without dismantling the whole thing to do it.

Personally, I'd rather select and install my own preferred WiFi and cell equipment.
Agree - why put up with the junk the manufacturer would install. I'll buy my own TV as well.

Before we get into this kind of equipment we should expect them to just include some of the BASICS like shock absorbers. Maybe a real suspension system worthy of a 5 ton vehicle. Or even some pretty good tires would be nice.

My Cedar Creek came with shocks, and I am quite happy with the suspension. I travel some pretty poor country roads just to get to the highway and it does very well

Thats good and more mfgs should do that but the fact is about 97% of TT's made do not have shocks or a decent suspension system.

Be nice as well if they went to residential stair spacing instead of a 10" step. Changed mine over this winter to 7" riser. Big difference for older people.

I bought a Hawkins Wi-FI antenna that plugs into a USB port. By using a 6' extension cord, I was able to put the antenna into a baggy, seal it, and place this up on the refrigerator vent, then pick up a Wi-Fi that was about 800 feet from my RV. It was able to get 'line of site' over all the other RV's in the campground!

In my 18 foot Trophy boat, they ran a rigging tube from the stern up to the helm, and left string in it attached to both ends of the tube so make it easier to pull additional wires.

My coach has a very nice channel from the outside front access hatch area up to the overhead entertainment area inside. The overhead area also gives me access to cables passed through a roof penetration cap. The channel did not have a pull string from the factory, but it does now. The frame diagram labels the channel as the 'A' pillar. ๐Ÿ˜‰

I think "Bob Vaughn" has the right idea, but is too specific with the equipment he's requesting. I would like to see an empty wire run from the roof, to upper cabinets, all the way down to the frame. That way you could pull stuff into the coach or down to the chassis.
Here, here. That's all I want as well. Just give me a junction box on the roof attached to a conduit with a string in it that leads to a nice cabinet near my A/V equipment or routers and I'd be very happy.

I definitely don't want them to choose the wires for me. What kind of coax will I need? How about ethernet, 12 volt or 120 volt A/C wires. No thank you.

At some point, the RV will *be* a hotspot. They are giving cars LTE connectivity now.

However- when anyone says "why don't they", the answer is invariably money.

That is what I meant.....Just the wire then the consumer could add what he wanted. Trying to get cables thru the roof or wall is a chore in itself....
