What do all of the letters and numbers mean? Model Numbers

I finally figured out that there is a certain method to the madness of looking for floor plans. RKS means (at least in part) rear kitchen. RLS means rear living room.

Is there a (fairly complete) guide to interpreting RV model numbers?

Ours is s Montana 324 RLQ. From measuring it looks like the inside is 32.4 feet,
With Rear Living and Quad slides.

But, I'm just guessing.

Some of these have been mentioned. Jayco uses some, maybe not all of these. I certainly have never found rhyme or reason for the numbers. I used to think they were lengths and that may be true for some but I don't believe it's true for all.

My Jayco is 31.5 RLDS, it's rear living with double slides.

FS=Five Slide

I thought FS meant Full Slide. We have a Jayco Greyhawk 31FS which has 2 slides and a bunk house. I know Jayco uses BH for Bunk House so I'm not sure the 31FS isn't the 31BH or the 31FSBH. By the way our Greyhawk is 32' 2".

I have no clue about the lettering on the motorhomes and they may be different but I promise you a Jayco 383FLFS fifth wheel is a Front Living, Five Slide rig.

Mine is a 27RLS. The living space is about 27', but outside length is 32 (from tongue to bumper).

RLS = Rear Living, slide

OUr old trailer was a Sprinter 295 DBWS. Only one we ever saw. It was a 29foot Double Bunk with slide. Bunks were full size (double) and had a main slider.

Our new unit is a 311FLR. 31 foot front living room

You just have to kinda decode it yourself

Our coach is a Fleetwood Southwind 32V.
The "32" is the nominal length in feet (give or take a foot or so).
I have no idea what the "V" means, if anything.
