Wanted to chime in to represent the happy 6.0 powerstroke owner's.
2005 f250 powerstroke with 221,400 miles and running strong. All I have done is replace one FICM board and wear items like ball joints and brakes. The truck has been worked hard towing and hauling from day one on and off road. Very happy and looking forward to hitting 300k. Anyway just wanted to chime in for those of us who are happy with the 6.0l
Sounds like you have a pretty doggone good truck there. A lot of truck owners are hoping their truck will last that long.:)
NC does not know what a ODO looks like when it hits 100,000. :B
Nor does any of your 6.7 cummins powered trucks
:h....Quiet a few on the Cummins forum have 6.7's with 200-300K and more on their 6.7's... I have several friends with 2014's and 2015's with well over 125,000 on their's, (it's there for the research).
Ron...you're right:)t, but guess I'll find out....as stated, this truck is my retirement truck. Approx 35,000 miles, (hasn't been driven much since Aug 19th, but driving it more here lately)

The biggest pi$$ off for me about my 6.0L was getting hosed so bad on resale, to the tune of $10-$15k less than a similar GM or Ram. Like I posted earlier, a lot of reputable dealers will not take them.
Truth here. Before I bought my new Ram last June I seriously debated new versus used. The problem I found with used on the Cummins and Duramax trucks is they weren't discounted enough to warrant buying used, imo. I did give some serious consideration to buying a used 6.0, which were generally much cheaper, with the expectation of spending a few thousand to bulletproof it. But at the end of the day this is not only my daily driver but also our tow vehicle for vacations, and I decided it wasn't worth rolling the dice on a 6.0.
