Anyone have a negative/positive experience with the BAL 28005 Deluxe Tire Chocks?
Your post is confusing because your thread title refers to BAL X-Chocks (Model 28010) but your post itself refers to the BAL 28005 which is
not an X-Chock ... rather, it's an earlier version of an in-between tire chock and not nearly as effective as the X-Chock. Secondly, what is your intent in using an in-between tire chock? ... I'm asking because neither of these products, despite the label "chock", is actually intended to chock the trailer and prevent it from inadvertently rolling away. For that you can't beat a BAL Standard Tire Chock, Model 28000A, provided you have sufficient clearance between the tires at ground level to secure this chock in place ... and yes, this one
does chock your tires. My own personal view is one can't beat a set of these to chock the trailer, along with a set of BAL X-Chocks to minimize suspension movement when walking around inside the camper.
