Yes it can be done. But before you do, have someone take you and the dogs for a long ride in the trailer.

A ride in my 25 footer is about the same as jumping into a cloths dryer. Our 60 lb. beast rides in the truck.

About the dog riding in the trailer...that's where my 2 Labs ride. It's not illegal and it's not in humane, and its not illegal...people just need to get over it. Mine jumps in 28* water to fetch ducks. I also dislike the fact of dog hair in a 60k truck. People tend to take better care of their pets than themselves.
