Browsing through ebay I came across "Brand New Honda EU2000i Inverter Generator Combo Package kit." from "pocketrocketparts" for a price of $1650.55. It sounds like a good deal. If you read the fine print though, it says it comes with everything but the generators!! Better hurry, those parallel cables selling for $1650.55 might go fast. I sent a question to the seller and asked what exactly he was selling and he replied "everything in the picture except the generators. I also reported it to eBay but the listing is still active. I did submit a "Best Offer" of $16.50 but he declined. BE CAREFULL!!

Bingo, Bingo, Bingo,

Assumption is the Mother of All Screwups.

Where you sit depends upon what you see. Folks can read into anything, and make anything outta nothin".

Keurig Gators picture is no more of a scam than the generator cables. But, if a person doesn't read and comprehend, they might think it was a gator keurig coffee maker and that two generators came with the cable.

But, reading a writing comprehension isn't what it used to be.

Scams out there, but I don't see either the keurig or the Genertor issue a scam if read. Maybe it was wishful thinking.

Read, read, read, throw in a little comprehension and folks may not consider everything a scam.

Both ads are pretty clear. Think reading comprehension.

It isn't just eBay.
I bought a pair of 20X50 binoculars from a charity auction site. I won't mention the name, but the initial is "G".
I got them for a good price, plus 14 dollars shipping and handling.
They arrived very well packed, but broken.
Their return policy states they will NOT refund shipping and handling fees, nor will they pay return shipping. Returning the glasses will cost more than I would be refunded, so it is not worth it.
Maybe I can get them fixed.
I doubt if I will EVER buy from that San Diego store again!

So, no chance, he just put the price in wrong? Has to be a scammer? He could be, but on the other hand maybe not. Seems like he has a lot of positive feed back, and has done a fair amount of e-bay biz.

If he wants $16.50, a decimal point is a pretty easy thing enter wrong, and come up with 1650.00. Just a thought

The OP offered $16.50 and was turned down.
Maybe $165.00 would have done it????

I bid on a cordless drill (box) once, but was luckily outbid. There was at least one person out there more nieve than me. Or maybe the seller was just jacking the price, hoping that I would attempt to win the bid.

Sadly they won't find out before Xmas. Hopefully they will be able to dispute the charge on their card.

Scsammers have been around since Caine cheated Able, or tried to. and ended up wacking him.

Alas, I have had to deal with a few of them,,, And I have had the pleasure of dealing with a few others... Only that was MY profession (They were not so happy with the outcome) I won't say I'm 100% pleased either but,,, Well, The judge ruled.

If I remember correctly something like that happened in San Diego. The local district attorney wrote a nice email to the seller and a refund was given.

Who knows on this ebay deal, but hopefully nobody falls for it.

The Keurig decals clearly state it is the decals only. The Genny package may have come with one generator, could have just been a miscommunication as the seller gets decent ratings. It is always buyer beware for me

I've had good luck with Ebay. It's sellers like this that give it a bad name. Too bad. I emailed him a note with my thoughts on his deceptive practices, not that it will change anything. Yes..be careful when making online purchases!

So they are selling a cable for $1600 bucks? That seems worse than thinking you could get two gen's for that price.
