Need confortable chairs that pack up in a tube

Not sure what they're called - the ones that collapse and fit in a tube shaped carry bag...

Like this:

We have some old fashioned webbed chairs that fold flat that we can take with our trailer - but they won't fit in our B. We also have some fairly old collapsing chairs - but they sag in the middle when you sit in them. I understand that the newer collapsing ones have more framework under them to keep from sagging - is that true?

So - what's the most comfortable collapsing chair?

I'll throw another one out there. We have Browning Fireside chairs. A bit pricier than the others mentioned, but they are not any bigger when folded up than the run of the mill bag chair, but they have a lot more support. DW has bad back and couldn't sit in the others for long, but she loves these.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. ๐Ÿ™‚

We did pick up a couple of the Kijaros - they are huge!!! They take up most of our trunk storage area. But they are sooo comfortable!

We also ordered a Pico chair - thanks NCWriter. None available locally, so will have to hope. If it is anywhere near as comfortable as the Kijaro we will take the Kijaros back to Dick's and order another Pico. Then we'll have a little extra room in the storage area.

i bought a Large comfy coleman from camping world back in 2012
this thing is heavy, it does go in bag, but its far heavier than the avg 'bag chair' and takes up more space, but it sure is comfy
the coleman "Comfortsmart suspension chair"

Bad back here. I struggled for years to find just the right chair. Finally I tried the Strong-back chair. Not cheap, but I've had it for 6 years and it's held up perfectly. Best bag chair that I've ever had.

I'll third this suggestion. We've had a couple of Strongback chairs for about 6 years now also. My back is very severely compromised (95% of my vertebrae have fractured And 10 are fused). We have had a lot of different ones in the past, but these have the perfect support for the whole back.
Oh, and they fit very nicely behind the drivers seat in our Roadtrek.

As far as the expensive ones go. I've never tried them because my cheapies haven't broke. It's been 15 years and they are still working great and very comfortable.

We don't spend much on ours because we take them to the beach in the boat and no matter the brand they only last so long.

I agree with not buying one you have not sat in. We usually go to Wally world or where ever and try them till we get something comfortable. No mail order, what's good for you is not necessarily good for me.

When we first got our class B, we went through a couple of sets of cheapie camp chairs before I bought a set of Pico telescoping armchairs a few years ago. (After seeing a lot of them in use at a class B rally.)

They fold into a square the size of a laptop case, and are comfortable, well made, still look new after lots of use. More expensive than the flimsy cheapies, but these suckers will outlive me.

If you buy the Pico chairs, shop around online. Prices can very $30 or so.

I'll second HuchFinn's recommendation of the Strong-Back chairs. Both DW and I love ours. I've had a few cheapies before they weren't anywhere near as comfortable as the Strong-Backs. I'd rather sit in the chair instead of a recliner.

I carry enough folding chairs for a small concert! All of them fold and go into a carrying bag. I even have one with a footrest. If that ever breaks I'll be very upset. My wife bought a new one for me but it just isn't comfortable. I also have a folding hammock.

We picked up some of these from Costco a few years back. Still working great. I like the rigid arms and no bar across the back of my legs.

Our entire family has these type of chairs because they store well in our small HTT. They are, for the most part, cheap. Use to be a family hobby to repair them and see just how long they would last. Zip ties, wire? We did this until a visitor fell out of one. Now we buy new chairs every twenty or so trips out. LOL

Kijaro. End of thread.

I'd take my Oztent King Kokoda any day of the week over a Kijaro. Only issue is 3x the price for the King Kokoda... but it's worth it.
