Norcold N811 Refrigerator

Our Norcold N811 RV refrigerator works on AC, 38 degrees F. On LP, solenoid valve works fine, propane lights off in flue, high temp switch is okay, yet the fridge goes up to at leat 53 degrees F. Any suggestions as to what can be wrong.

Awning Strut/Damper won't Compress

Is there a secret to compressing an awning damper? We had to loosen ours from the awning for a bolt repair and now it won't compress to be replaced. There is no apparent reason to believe it was damaged.Thank you in advance for your help.
